The Aliens - Not From These Parts

The day before Paddy’s Day, Donagh rocked my world on these very pages by casually mentioning that the scrambled brains behind the original Beta Band was now compos mentis and had formed a band with the rump of the sadly-defunct aforementioned Beta Band.
Four days later, he again rocked my world, but this time in a bad way, by casually mentioning that Gordon Anderson of said bands had broken his clavicle and they’ve had to cancel a bunch of gigs, including the Dublin one. Tired of this constant and casual rocking of my world by outside influences, I have decided to rock my own world, at times of my own choosing. So I did a little digging and discovered that the Dublin gig had been rescheduled for June 18, in Crawdaddy.
To paraphrase: all the blokes who used to be the Beta Band are now The Aliens and they’re in Dublin tonight.
